💬 The most dangerous of all time

In the past, people faced knowledge as if it were a sacred place. They spoke softly and listened attentively. Knowledge was a gift, and an educated man was a beacon in the fog of ignorance. His word was followed not for the number of "likes," but for the weight of the truth it carried with it. Today... today no one asks what you know, but how convincing you are, how "sure of yourself" you seem, how many times you've been seen, not how many times you've been right. Ignorance has lost its shame. It got up, put on a suit, took the microphone and declared itself the voice of the people. In an era where opinions have replaced knowledge and noise has silenced reason, it is no longer a problem that people do not know. The problem is that they do not want to know. Because it is easier to swim in shallow waters. There is no depth that threatens, nor silence that seeks thought, nor mirror that seeks truth. And so the intelligent ones remain silent, so as not to have to translate themselves into a language that is in itself an insult to reason. Because today we do not seek clarity, we seek simplification to the point of absurdity. If you are too deep, you are "inaccessible". If you tell the truth, you are "inflexible". If you know, "you are arrogant". It is no longer a matter of who knows, but of whom to trust. And we trust those who do not disturb. Those who do not ask for effort. Those who do not ask questions.

As someone wise said, "who is free from the burden of knowledge." Once upon a time, the intelligent taught the foolish. Today, the foolish teach the intelligent to be silent. And not because they are having a discussion. Already because they have the majority. But the majority does not mean truth. Noise does not mean meaning. And presence does not mean value. That's why we might be living in the most dangerous of all times, an era in which stupidity no longer seeks to be hidden, but to be respected.
