I understand that this may appear absurd, but it is not at all, and the proof that they are capable of doing it lies in the lockdowns during the Corona virus period, between 2020 and 2022. Billions of people around the world, those belonging to the working class, that is, the people, were forced into house arrest for weeks. This is preventing people from carrying out social activities.
Governments will say "here is the much-requested universal income. You will get it provided that you obey these new laws and rules (restrictive).". Dissidents will no longer receive the income.
Online work, that is, selling products and services through the Internet, may allow you to have more material things, but it is not a solution to the loss of freedom.
The only solution to the problem of losing the right to life is entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs will be the category allowed to move freely across the (global) territory, interact and exchange in the real world and, therefore, carry out social activities in the real world.
Moral of the story... the world population is increasingly dividing between people who live in reality and people who live in virtuality. The former will continue to carry out social activities and prosper in freedom, thus continuing to truly live, while the latter, confined within the walls of their homes, will only be able to survive, like animals in captivity.
